I followed this thread because of the subject of birds, we have a Monk Parrot, named Bee-Bop, and two dogs, and a cat. I love animals and am thrilled to see the pictures you have posted of the ones you live with. But I felt compelled to second the notion that my mother and I are doing this cleanse for spiritual enlightenment. I heard somewhere once that if you go out in nature, alone, for just 20 minutes a day and reflect on your surroundings and what you are doing with your life, that after 21 days of doing this your eyes will be opened. I intend to do this daily ritual in the sacred place that we've created. Getting back to nature seems to be the key to unlocking one's spiritual side. Afterall, we were born of the earth and it is only by returning our attention to it, admiring it, and respecting it, that we can understand and embrace the path we are meant to take.
