One thing I tell people that shuts them up fast ---- if they are tending to be judgmental --- is to just quote medical statistics to them ....

For example, you could say that you just found that the lifetime risk factor for contracting cancer is 47,21% for males and 41.69% for females ..... nearly 1 out of every two men.....

So you decided to make sure you are the 1 that DOESN'T get it .... by eating the FDA recommended 10 fruits and vegetables each day. Then shut up. That's enough info. Just wink and nod, nudge 'em in the ribs with an elbow and say, and ya know, it makes me pretty frisky, too .... wink wink nod nod .... Then they'll just laugh and start backing away .... :D

People hear what they want to hear .... this way you gave them info in the manner they are used to getting it: "What Big Brother Wants You To Know" .....

If someone is truly interested, you can take them aside, but sometimes saying too much is just "pearls before swine."

Just wait until you look fantastic .... then they will beg you to tell them all about it!
