A much cheaper way to make fresh juice: If you can afford an ordinary kitchen blender (here in the states they are about $12 at large discount stores):
Put a litte chopped up vegetables and enough water in the blender, start blending, and gradually add more chopped up vegetables. Then sieve the liquid through some cheesecloth or a fine kitchen sieve to remove the pulp.
It is true you'll have added water to the juice, so it is diluted, but I've heard of many people drinking water with their vegetable juice as it is, so no harm done with the water being in it.
