I have a copy of that book "Secret Fallout" by Ernest J. Sternglass about the true effects of low-level radiation from nuclear reactors even when they don't have accidents -- as well as many documented examples of te "powers that be" building more and more reactors in the face of CLEAR evidence that it is causing high infant mortality, birth defects, etc. Unfortunately it is not a super readable book (very dry, academic) but the facts are anything but boring. Another printing of what is probably the same book is much cheaper and can be purchased used on Amazon.com for about $20. It's called LOW-LEVEL RADIATION.
