I notice that my body has gotten used to waking up at around two to let my dog out. That interferes with the effectiveness of melatonin. I find my body trying to play catch up during the morning till I take my usual noontime nap. I wonder if increasing the dosage will have me sleep through the whole night. Last night I closed my door and locked Sophie out :( I still woke up at two but I'll give it two weeks to reset itself before I think about upping the dosage. The 1mg is effective enough.
