We have friends who are in the medical profession, one is a Pulmonary Cardiologist and his wife who is a Psychiatrist.  With all these medical credentials, you'd think they'd be very healthy, vibrant people, when in fact they are just the opposite.  Both of them not only look ill most of the time, it is apparent they feel ill most of the time.  Enough to concern us.

My husband suggested I inform them of juice fasting... I expressed that if I did that, then I would probably offend them.  I explained that the best thing we could do is just allow the juice fasting I am doing speak for itself in my own appearance and vitality.  They have not seen me in quite a while (they work with my husband so he sees them all the time).  So as you know I just pulled off a 34 day juice fast and am headed into the raw food lifestyle.  I am giving myself until March 19, my birthday, to see how well I can pull off the raw food lifestyle and what adjustments I may need to make... in the meantime, I'm still going to be doing marvelous things for my body and appearance even if I am not juice fasting.  So we decided that we would invite the doctors out to dinner after my birthday deadline and if they ask what I have been doing to myself, then I will introduce them to the benefits of juice fasting.

And even if they don't ask, my husband plans to make an opening just so I can get the topic out there... We want these people to know, but we don't want to offend them as friends or turn them off before they're turned on.  And if that doesn't work, we can always make up informative flyers and stick them on their cars while they're working.

It's very difficult to get medical professionals who have been trained under the traditional allopathic mentality to open themselves up to alternative methods of healing.  Frustrating to say the least.

Good luck with your mother.  Perhaps after she sees the magnificent benefits you're undergoing, the juice fast will speak to her then.  Seeing is believing, after all.
