Indeed, when one rises above it all, one can see that this information could be seen as misleading. This gentleman who runs the Quackwatch website, although it is clear that he thinks he is trying to help people, is not coming from a heart-centered place and therefore I don't buy a word he says.
He pooh poohs the myriad statistics about malpractice, illness, and deaths caused by medical professionals and pharmaceutical medications, but he's quick to zero in on any perceived flaw in an alternative health modality, even when that modality has a proven track record of helping many people.
