the pictures are so precious! I remember reading about this hippo when it was rescued right after the tsunami occured a year ago December 2004!
this is definitely a testament to love. I read somewhere about animals raising young of another species--a chicken raised some ducklings whose mother had been killed. somehow the hen knew when it was time to bring them down to the water's edge. She didn't go into the water herself, but nudged each duckling in, one by one, so they could swim for the first time!
I saw photos of a female dog nursing a baby squirrel who had gotten separated from it's mother, along with her own pups! The pups didn't seem to mind that there was another one; they all slept in a big heap together for warmth.
makes you wonder about humans. when will we learn to love and live with all of our own sisters and brothers in the same way, no matter race, nationality, culture, age, ability or dis-ability, religion,....etc? Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
