I absolutely agree with the message in your blog. Reading the right books, attending workshops and going through the motions of spiritual practice mean nothing if you are unwilling to do the work. A friend and mentor of mine uses that phrase all the time. "Do your work". Unfortunately that is the one thing that people are afraid of and resist. And for anyone who may not know what that means let me spell it out. To do one's work is to go inward, examine yourself in the spirit of absolute honesty and truth in order to release all of your fears, limiting beliefs, judgments, pain, anger, sadness and anything and everything else that you hold on to that diminshes your absolute beauty, power and glory. We are all made in the image of God, are a part of God and are like mini or junior Gods and doing your work is letting go of all that tells you differently. I'll be completely honest. It isn't always easy. There are times you are overcome by emotion and grippled by fear and you have to find the courage and love within yourself to carry on, but here is where you find your inner strength and learn to trust and surrender to God. The reason those of us who do our work continue is because we have experienced the joy that comes from every victory and we know that there is nothing but more joy waiting for us.
I also beleive in action. Having let go of so much in my own life, I have allowed myself to become a vessel for God. As a vessel, I allow God to work through me. But in order to work through me, I have to trust and be willing to take action when necessary. And the reason why I choose to work for God is because I wish to be of service and help provide opportunities for others to do their work and receive the joy that I have now received.
Great message daizy4.
