as best as i recall... the two males had wandered out of the area... and that is why the jackals were sucessful in overpowering the tribe... this is what makes it all the more intrigueing... how did the male lions know what had happened... do you suppose they intuit certain event/happenings... or could they perhaps have some sort of communication that we are unaware of... it is only one of many unexplainable enigmas that i have observed/encountered during this life time... if one is constantly alert one will probably encounter many... only i think most are passed over as being merely circumstantial...
still... the lion documentary was one of those things/lessons/observations that has always stuck in the back of my mind... and it has a way of popping up whenever i go into the outer limits to ponder why...
another documentary that comes to mind was the one about the wilderbeast... during their migration they have many crocadile infested rivers to cross... i remember as i watched them being eaten alive by the crocs... how i wished i were there to kill the crocs... it was awful what they were doing... but suddenly it dawned on me... that it is all a matter of perspective... had i been looking at it from the crocs view point i would have seen it as "a wonderful day in the neighborhood"... "a drop in lunch"... "your friendly meal on hoofs"... from this i aquired a new perspective of keeping an open mind... by not to allowing myself to be prejudiced/biased...
but in getting back to the subject of open mindedness and karma being able to exist together as universal laws... personally... i see karma as a universal law... free will is more of a choice... a gift/grace ... were we not given free will we would be but robots...
yet we have the right to choose right or wrong... and deep down we know the
difference... yet there are times that we are willing to do the wrong thing in order to satisfy our desires... and thus the universal law of karma steps in... so... from this... i draw the conclusion... that good or bad... nothing goes unnoticed... and good is rewarded just as surely as bad is punished... maybe not directly... but it all seems to equal out doesn't it... in the end we get what's coming to us...
there is a higher power/an over soul if you wish... much greater than you or i... that makes sure matters never get to far out of hand... and i think that is so cool... it means that i don't have to strive to control anyone or anything... or to seek revenge... mine is not to judge... but merely observe... and from all i have observed so far... i have learned that the more i rely on this higher power... the more freedom i enjoy...
it is a wonderful day in the neighborhood...
lol...
