what a cowardly thing to do... "surrender"... who ever heard of such... it goes against the grain... we are conditioned from childhood to never surrender... never say die... fight to the last man... go down with guns blazing... so it just goes to prove how screwed up our society is... and how crazy we are as a result... when it is so much easier... so much less trouble for all concerned to just run up the white flag and join the enemy...

i think it was abraham lincoln that said destroy your enemies by making them your friends...

i either read... or heard somewhere... that it is best to "resist not ones demons"... and from personal experience i have learned that this tactic works best... for the more i resist and fight... the more power i seem to bestow upon the demons that plagues me...

yet... all the most wonderful wisdom/knowledge in the world can not save us from ourselves... for unless we are dedicated/committed/disciplined to constant self awareness... our very own ego will seek to destroy us... isn't that a hoot...
