Rarely have I ever had problems with vitamins, except for E, a few of the Omega formulas, Q10 gel, etc.
One time I decided to use cocunut oil, which too had "Soybean oil" listed as an ingrediant. After some research, I came across the exact same thing that you mentioned here; it would appear that most vitamin companies (Unlike mainstream food products) can get away with simply listing "Soybean oil" as an ingrediant, w/o specifiying whether or not they are GMO and/or hydrogenated versions, as you bring to light.
Great post, excellent research. It's about time to read something in one of these that has some true merit to it, rather than the usual "The government is involved in a massive plot to...." garbage that you find on so many of these.
If people didn't eat trans fats, partially hydrogenated oils/fats, and smokers stayed away from monounsaturated fats, we wouldn't find half the amount of "Candida," "Lyme," or whatever other types of mythical diseases on here.
One way or the other, the vast majority of today's diseases goes back to the liver, and the fact that just about every doc in the country is warning people against trans and partially hydrogenated "Anything" should come as a good indicator to all of us about what we need to do to stay healthy.
Food ingrediants to avoid, at all costs-nitrites/nitrates, partially hydrogenated "Anything", GMO'd foods (Look for non GMO on ingrediant lists), and regular milk. If we'd stay away from those things, we'd have a much, much healthier society.
In reference to the use of supplements, I try to find capsules in everything-nothing with "Gel." And I highly prefer gelatin as the main base rather than cellulose. Cellulose, a "FIber" that is supposedly something that cannot be "Digested," is showing up in stool cultures left and right in this country, and with such findings usually comes another GI related illness, such as Ecoli, etc.
Great post, sir/ma'am.
