sorry for the delay in replying.
glad you enjoyed the Animal Trainer poem by John Berryman. When you're at a bookstore or library next, try looking up Part II, it completes the thought.
I couldn't find it on the internet, thus did not yet include it. When I find my John Berryman poetry book I will transcribe it.
The change of seasons is quite extreme sometimes in Colorado, though we've not had much snow this year. Just the early sundown and long nights do affect me a bit though.
Like you describe transitioning from the conference mode to aloneness, and how working w/ flower images soothed you......I find similar ways of coping.
Flower essences are a regular standby.
