HI, You must have missed some of the post. I left him in 1985 and re-married after 2 years in 1987. This wasn't a case of slobbery; in fact, he was a very clean guy.
This was a case of weakness, cruelty, self-possession and infidelity. He latched onto a younger woman; one half his age. He dumped her and has been with another woman since. No wedding; living together. And his blood pressure has been high ever since. I found this out from one of our daughters; that he has been on blood pressure medication for many years. I only see him at the grandkids' birthday parties. My husband and I attend them together.
