1) China owns more of our Debt than Japan- but Japan is next...If they choose to -they might flood the market with our paper...a threat--and as soon as the $$ is not the international currency peg in the (G8) financial centres we are KOed (sorry K)

The my dear we are history, our own governement will be destroyed..they are ruining themselves (and us) at this very moment. Perhaps, the illuminati will band together to form a world government...but
How long will Americans sit still without their toys? This is the key-When the economy fails or goes into a "deep resession" the Americans will pay attention. GW is like a hamster in a wheel- He's "dancing as fast as he can" hoping to get his term done before the inevitable
1) The market has traded in a small or tight range for 5 years-not broken the top. Low rates have not stimulated a break out of this range toward the growth of the pre-1999
2) housing is the bubble of all bubbles, and low interest rates have sustained this but, just as with the S&L crisis (it occurs to me here that we have had all this before with the energy crisis of the 70's, stagflation, bad income to loan ratios, S&L crisis, REO takeover- I believe Bush's brother was involved in the S& L crisis)
3) shaky financing abound, and the banking sector knows it- they are already out of favor as an investment
4) we have Katrina in all her brutal aspects
5) Rates are being raised in the face all the above
6)Energy is a large driver in the inflationary effect(GW and friends)
Greenspan is retiring (finally-but getting out before the fall?)
And GW is, as I said, trying to peddaling as fast as he can before all hell breaks loose.

Wars are made to take our mind off the rest of it- we are so blessed/spoiled that we have our eyes on the shiny objects and will not feel the whole world order thing-until there is collapse and our collapse will stmulate a world upheaval! Then we will need a world government won't we? Just to hold the chaos roar.
