I know. No offense taken! On the surface of it, I appeared to be uncaring. Posting it was a reaction I had after I read this morning's newspaper about the Hurricane. I actually went numb for a while. I posted that while I was working on the one about Hurricane Katrina and didn't see your blog comment until after the Hurricane one was posted. I just thought that the whole issue with the toads was funny given all the other serious problems of the world. I have a weird sense of humor. I used to be a hospice social worker, and the nurses and I would tell jokes about death and dying that were in the worst of taste; if anyone outside our group would have heard us they would've thought we were horribly uncompassionate, which was not the case. We were releasing tension and laughing at the absurdity of what we did 50+ hours a week. Love, LL
