loralei,i totally agree with your thinking.thing is am a bit confused.
i pray to god (only the lords prayer).i ask for nothing yet i feel i and my loved ones are 'looked after'.i am of no religion, but i believed in god.i watched a programme the other night on tv .it was very intriguing, all about E=mc2.creating all matter etc..do i in my wisdom now discount god and begin to sound like an athiest?do i view my prayers as a self induced 'placebo'.i believe in self-healing but i think it comes from the subconconcious.i think now that 'prayer' is one pathway to it,but if i intentionally try to use my subconscious mind,it will then become conscious.i'm sorry that it's all confused, but if i pray then i am wrongful because i now feel very stongly in my beliefs about E=mc2 and yet no less about god.my remarks to you about 'placebo'was in respect of spiritualism(not putting you down).i suppose i come within the range of spiritual belief, but i dont know how to deal with it.i thought perhaps you can help me.?Tom .
