Dear Leslie: Here is a seed dream that I'd like put in your alter/space:

I dream that the Hilton, as a world-wide chain of hotels, will "green" every building they own. I dream that the buildings will be so "green" and "clean" that even someone like me, with chemical sensitivity, can go into any Hilton anywhere in the world and be comfortable in any room in the place.

I dream that the Hilton, a multi-billion dollar corporation, will be a leader in the healthy building movement world-wide, and will be a leader in the preservation and "greening" of the environment.

I dream that those who are the power-brokers in the Hilton corporation will donate their political funds to politicians around the world who stand up for the protection of the environment, worker rights, and the bettering of the world through end of poverty and oppression.

I dream that the Hilton will sponsor a program where its workers can take one day off a month, with pay, to volunteer at a local community program of their choice, such as schools, libraries, literacy program, tree-planting, community clean-up, feeding the homeless, visiting elderly shut-ins, etc.

I dream that the Hilton will match every dollar their employees donate to the charity of their choice, dollar-per-dollar, and provide other employee incentives to donate their time and money to worthwhile causes.


This seed dream is dedicated to my mother, Glenna Pearl (Slater) Zack, a humanitarian if there ever was one, who instilled in me the values of caring for our fellow man and the world.
