I am over the War between the States.. We were just discussing history and how it relates good or bad to each of us... Like it or not that is what happened...

By the way I am not a redneck.... That name has been unsed as a slam against the people of the South... It originated during the coal miners revolt / strike in Weat Virginia back around the turn of the century (1900s)... The miners wore red bandannas around their necks to identify themselves... The Federal troops sent in to quell the riots gave them the name "RED NECKS"...
Even though I have been down in a coal mine, I am not nor have been a red neck.... The proper name should be "Hick"... Someone wno dresses, acts, and looks like a hick.... Got it!
I lov Jeff Foxworthy, and he was a neighbor, but he used the wrong name for these type poeple... Should have used "Hick"... It rimes with Tick... See Ya..
