I don't mind if people leave where they grew up and live in a place they like better. But that whole, "We did things better back where I came from" thing gets old... Although I guess I still do that. I live in a great city in Asia, by choice, and I love a lot of things about it - but still in my family we frequently say, "Why do they do things that way? We do it WAY better back in America/the South!" So I guess it's a natural tendancy. But maybe it's different if people move to get something better (but still liked their old place), compared to moving just to GET AWAY from the old place (in which case they shouldn't whine that things were better in their old place).
