I read your messages regularly, as I am a "health addict"- both in my personal life and in my professional life. I am working on my Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Florida right now, and have done extensive research on the topic of food (obviously). While I agree with you that a switch to a raw lifestyle would be a healthier alternative to the diet that most Americans practice, many theories behind going raw are seriously flawed. I could list MANY reasons, but the main one is that cooking vegetables actually makes the vitamins more available to the body. By eating them raw, many vitamin AI's and %DV's cannot be met. Just a thought...Going raw isn't all bad, but it isn't all good either. Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
