Awesome stuff, good luck getting deep into your fast, I've been doing a pretty long liquid fast every spring/summer for many years now, I find it much easier every year & that as I practice this, my body just knows what's happening and flows into it very effortlessly when the times comes, I suppose more or less depending on how long it's been since the last one & how my energy is when I start.
I have never been able to successfully water fast - tried for a couple days and just ended up with all my skin drying out so bad & horrible cracked lips, no energy etc - so I stick to just closing the gates of digestion & living off tea, herbal tea, coconut water, juices (though I don't seem to drink very many juices, sometimes I'll have a bit to break up the monotony or change things up etc) and also for me I do drink kefir & have milk in tea etc or sometimes a glass of milk which I have found is a great way to easily continue on a liquid fast for a long period - things like kefir, kombucha etc also have a lot of probiotics which may explain why going back to eating after the fast never seems to hard for me, there's a lot of info about milk fasting out there & people who have used raw milk etc and lost a lot of weight and toxins if that's something new to you.
Well - all the best, for me I believe if you're going to do something like this for a long time you have to learn to do it relaxed & comfortably & enjoy the fast as a feast for your soul & a fountain of youth for your spirit & body - not sure what the Daniel fast is but I'm going to look it up -- p.s. for some strange reason I've always found broths totally stimulate my digestion while milk & kefir don't get the stomach moving - perhaps because they're such primary foods, I think it's the oil in the broths because veggie juice doesn't do it as bad..
