Think your readers need to know about the new California laws that are about to be enacted.
Bills AB 1117 and SB 917
OMG these are amazingly wide written laws that allow the definition of "abuse of animals" to include such things as tieing a hosre to a post when you stopped riding for a minute or two, or even "pasturing" horses, cows , chickens, etc. All kinds of animals and pets (including rabbits, dogs, etc) can be grabbed and their owners need to pay for this as well as lots of other crazy stuff.
Also talks about not selling "rare" breed animals on parking lots or other public roadways... Definition of "rare" breed is not known. So in theory the SPCA who often brings pets for adoption to store parking lots might
be "criminals"! These bills are designed to make animal ownership in Californis hard if not impossible and infringes on our rights to own and enjoy pets and grow animals for food. Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
