Hey XZY, this may sound kind of cheesy but it really does help. My wife has never done a fast before and I was worried about keeping up the motivation and the momentum for us since we tend to enable each other to make bad food choices so I printed out a motivational quote and taped it to the bathroom mirror where we would both see it every single day. It says
"The pain of self discipline is never as great as the pain of regret".
