It becomes very traumatizing when the person with the NPD is someone like your father and that he has all the bad signs/symptoms that define NPD. NPD people also tend to use people to support their own demands and preserve their self-worth. They can be extremely deadly and will pitch family members against you to gain their demands too.
For years, I was used by my father and then after I was married, my father used my husband who was at most times, lost about how he should deal with the situation since he never wanted to offend me. It took us years before we realized we were being tried in a situation where most families never had to experience. Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
