I wonder to what extend the fact that the patients had already made a change in their approach to their well-being, made a difference to their recovery - my guess is: quite a bit. They appear to have taken control of their own well-being by having investigated other healing forms - that would have meant they had already lost that sense of hopelessness by the time they came to see you.

What was the impact of your taking your time with them, taking a real interest in them, with a positive expectation? Quite significant, I expect, particularly in comparison with what they may have got from their doctors/hospital.

What words did you speak for them to feel understood and nurtered, which would have lowered their anxiety immediately, with a positive effect on their immuun system and serotonin levels (if at all serotonin really does matter).

How reassuring that these people have been 'rescued' from the clutches of big pharma.
