What I remember is them saying they gave him I.V. anti-parasitics [and I think they mentioned Ivermectin] for a month and then later said that he would have to continue to take it, like, once a month. It's not hopeless. F. the doctors, though. I finally got rid of them in my eyes! In any case, if it IS strongyloides, you can buy Ivermectin [marketed as Stromectol or some other name; doesn't matter] through Canadian Pharmacy [http://www.ca-pharmacy-online.com/item.php?id=817&aid=3046, http://quick-pharmacy.com/item.php?id=817,...].
If those don't work, just type, "buy stromectol" in google. Ivermectin is not a controlled substance like pot or heroin. In almost all other countries no RX is needed. Anyway, you need to buy enough to take 3mg [one pill] per 10 lbs of body weight once a day until symptoms are gone. Gets worse before it gets better. To get rid of the ones in my eyes, I took 15 pills [in a fat stage...don't care....] once a day for 10 days. You can also take/order Albendazole [albenza...] 2x daily for however long you want [for some tapeworms it's 90 days]. I found Solgar Garlic and Parsley helpful, too.
