Hi, I read your fasting blog and was surprised about your comment that you weren't looking forward to your colonic session. When you added a "Yuk" to it that got my attention!

I'm a practitioner of colon hydrotherapy and would really appreciate it if you could elaborate on what you found most unpleasant about your colonics. It would be very helpful to me and other colon therapists reading this (and several I know do follow these forums) to understand how we could make the experience more comfortable for our first-time clients.

Many of the clients I've treated tell me they actually look forward to their sessions, but then again they are the ones who have come back for followup sessions. Some come in once and never return, so perhaps they felt otherwise.

Was it the therapist herself (or perhaps himself)? Was the studio and equipment neat and spotlessly clean? Did you experience discomfort because you felt too much water was introduced into your colon causing discomfort before you were able to release?

Had you previously used enemas at home, or was this your first experience with "cleansing from below"? In your earlier post about your first colonic you mentioned that you weren't a fan while you were there, but also you hadn't had a BM for 3 days. Do you think that being constipated made the experience more unpleasant than you expected? If so, was your next appointment more comfortable?

Do you know what type colonic system your therapist used? An open gravity flow or closed system? Large speculum or pencil thin rectal tube? Libbe or Dotolo or Hydrosan or other that you might remember?

Any information or comments you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
