I enjoy reading about your fast. I think it is a great loss to the water fasting forum that you do not feel free to post about it there anymore, however, I understand as I am doing the same. I look to God for my support and I read the forum for information and encouragement as I have time. I am thankful that you are at least sharing in this way as you are very inspirational and I know others are encouraged too.

I just have a question for you. I am curious as to why you do not want God in your life at this moment in time. I know that it is none of my business and you do not owe anyone an explanation. You may have a very good reason for it, but I'm thinking fasting is a great time to seek God and get closer to Him. Most people, that have been close to God, would want to get closer as they know He is awesome. I'm also thinking, what if God decided one day that He did not want me in His life at this moment in time, or you? It is awesome to know that He would never think that about you or me, even though both of us have thought that way about Him. You now, and me in the past.

Sometimes we don't feel Him, but don't let that fool you. He is with us. Let me share just one experience I had. I was going through some major personal problems and needed to hear from God. I decided to go on a juice fast as that was the best I could do at the time to seek Him in fasting. It wasn't even fresh juice, but store bought apple juice in jars. I know, not the healthiest choice, but it was the best I could do at that time to help me seek God. After several days of fasting I still did not hear from God or feel His presence in any great way. I ended the fast just trusting Him to work out my problems. A few days later, after completing the fast and just before I woke up, I heard the most beautiful choir of angels singing to me. I was filled with the presence of God and joy. The line of the song that I remember and will never forget was: "I send My angels to watch over you." His love for me was so real to me that day and it was so awesome to feel just a tiny bit of it; we may never be able to comprehend His love. I do not believe that He would have sent that beautiful choir to me if I would not have been seeking Him in fasting and prayer just a few days before. I know He is sending His angels to watch over you too no matter what you are going through or how you may feel about Him.
