Greetings--sounds like you are wise--a 40 day water one sounds good if you really hear from the Lord but if not seems a bit dangerous health-wise. I'll be glad to join you in your journey though and pray for your walk (and mine). I did a 40 day juice fast a number of years ago--felt great and I did lose and told myself I'd never again gain -- and of course, here I am again, 9 years later in the same boat/body. So---am determined to try again. Bill Bright (who was the head of Campus Crusade) had a good book out on the 40 day fast and it made a lot of sense--physically but also spiritually.
