Hi Lovey, Inspired by you 2 years ago I tried UT. I just did a small amount but I stopped because I was worried about the frequent urination it seemed to cause.
Recently I tried again and I've been doing it for just over a month. I am drinking a lot throughout the day. The frequent urination problem is still present but I drink plenty of water and seem to be able to work through the frequency problem and towards the end of each day it stops. I get a huge benefit from UT. Happy mood and mental alertness. It hasn't resolved my constipation issues though which are really bad. I do enemas and have been doing them recently with a cup of urine in the quart measure and find the enemas much more relaxing as a result.
BUT... I have had 2 bouts of stomach pain (which I relate to the constipation). I went to the doctor and he ruled out appendix/gall stones etc and took a blood test and said I should have a barium enema. The blood test came back with raised level of creatinine. I had to tell him I was doing UT and he told me to stop and take another test in 2 weeks time. To be fair to the doc he made no judgement but the implication was that UT could have raised creatinine level.
I know you had kidney issues some time ago. Did you ever have a blood test to check on your kidneys? Interestingly though the creatinine level is higher, the urea level is slightly lower than a test I did 8 years ago.
