Could it really be as cut and dried as that Vegan equals wrinkly skin? For me almost nothing is simply black or white; right or wrong; healthy or unhealthy. My feeling is that we are all individuals and the saying 'one man's meat is another man's poison' springs to mind.
I wonder if it is possible in your case, bearing in mind that your health and food intolerances appear to have improved so drastically whilst you were vegan, that eating meat makes the body bloat and only when the swelling subsides that the skin shows the effect in the form of wrinkles?
On the other hand does it have to be 100% abstinence, or could eating meat occasionally be a desirable option? And further could it have been simply that when your health was so poor that although your body needed the nourishment from meat, it was incapable of digesting it? Now that you are much recovered you are able to metabolize many more foods. I am happy for you and find your story very inspiring.
Personally, I am a fish and egg eating vegan. This is what seems the best for me at present. And although my health has improved substantially and is continually improving, my digestive system is still weak and I still have many food intolerances; weakness and a persistent cough.
I have been taking Sun Chlorella A for a few weeks now, and am very comfortable with it. I checked it out with a kinesiologist who I have found to be very accurate. He also feels that it is beneficial for me, but that I could take 55 tablets a day. I have just built up to that amount now. I am pleased because I reckon that through this I will absorb much needed nutrition which I have been lacking for a long time. It has already made a big difference to my constipation which I'm confident will have a very positive knock on effect.
Thank you once again for posting your blog. You have achieved massive improvements in your health and wellbeing, and I think your journey could be very valuable to many people.
