Hey, I wish you success with your fasting. I'm beginning a fast today as well. The reasons I am embarking on a fast are similar to yours except that I feel as though I am addicted to food and self-indulgence. I am not overweight; I train regularly and am quite muscular, actually. But I feel that my life revolves around eating. Lately, I have noticed that my indulgence with food has spilled into my spiritual life; I indulge in spiritually unhealthy things as well.

So, I hope this goes well for you...but I am wondering if you have taken stock of your general state of health before beginning? If you have not been able to prepare for fasting...and you had a "late night," are you sure that you are physically and mentally prepared for a fast? I only ask this from a medical standpoint (my work field)...I am not questioning your motives, etc.

All of that aside, I know from my experience that if you are juicing, it is very wise to use the juice of vegetables and fruits to maintain your body's equilibrium of electrolytes and glucose.
