I spent part of my youth in Switzerland. Back when I was young & innocent, playing with friends was the most important thing in life then. No money troubles, work troubles, health troubles, in fact no troubles at all….just being a kid with not a care in the world. Skiing, camping, climbing trees & mountains, learning to speak French……(sigh!)

Switzerland reminds me to those innocent carefree days. Skiing in the cold snowy winters, crackling wood fires, the summers are so breathtakingly beautiful over there. Icy cold Crystal C. skies, rivers, steams and lakes. Lots of lakes in Switzerland. My dad was bored in the winters ‘cause he didn’t ski, so he built himself a boat to sail on the lakes in the summer. Imagine that, building a boat in his backyard, in a landlocked country…..carefree days indeed!
