Okay, so it all makes perfect sense. But how will one go about being tested? If these tests are not yet approved, how can one ask their doctor to perform it? I have suffered with what I believe is Lyme's for 6 yrs following a LOUSE bite. I vividly remember this occurence because, one, who wouldn't remember getting lice from your daughter's daycare, and two, the bite hurt like heck for about a month. One bite, mind you. I have lost my hair periodically, always from the area of the bite first. I have gone on to develop hypothyroidism, hypoadrenalism, chronic candidiasis, liver pain,(GB removed 1 yr ago) and tooth pain. Plus I have the shooting biting sensation almost all the time. I am desperate and feel like I will die soon as a result.(I've started to experience chest pain, thus the sense of uregency.) I have had a traditional blood plasma test (western Blot) but of course it was negative. As you know with all doctors, the buck stops there. Help!!! what can I do?
