Kermi, I recognized you were a conservative Christian with many of the negative implications that it carries.  I never pegged you for an Islamophobe – until now.  There may be many good reasons to oppose this or that person for office; religion is not one of them.

There was no truth and even less introspection in this post.  Everything you write about Islam is wrong or applicable only to the extreme or conservative sects.  More importantly it can also be applied to fundamentalists and conservative Christians. Let’s see what happens when we turn your argument around and focus it on people like you.  Can a Christian be a good American? 

Theologically - no. Christian alliegiance is to Jesus and they accept no other religion but Christianity (2 Chronicles 15:12-13)

Scripturally - no. Essentially the same reason you give for Islam applies to Christianity.

Socially - no. The statement about Islam is a bold faced lie.  At the height of Muslim rule in Europe, Jews, Christians and Muslims were given free reign to worship, work and live as they pleased.   A courtesy the Christians did not return during their rule of Jerusalem.

Politically - no. Christians work for the destruction of the world by bringing about the mythical Apocalypse. Because the Bible advocates slavery which has been abolished in this and every other country.

Domestically - no. Because daughters can be sold into sexua| slavery of marriage, and the man is allowed to marry another woman if the first wife does not please him.  (Exodus 21:7-14)).

Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is not based on the Bible.

Philosophically - no. Because Christianity does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Christianity are antithetical to each other and cannot co-exist.  

Spiritually - When we declare "one nation under God," we are following a custom that was adopted in 1954 after a long campaign by the Knights of Columbus

We should conclude that Christians are a danger to this country and should not be trusted to hold any public office.  Their allegiance is to THEIR God first and the country and constitution will always come after their religion.

BTW: has anyone mentioned that the “HUH” you use so much comes off as very rude.  Think about it, you may agree and decide to stop using it.
