Herpes isn't a death sentence....thousands and thousands of people live happy, successful lives with herpes. I'm going on year 19.....there was a time it was all I thought about, but hardly ever even think about anymore, actually hadn't thought about it for ages until I saw your post!
It gets better, it really does.
There are lots of support groups on the internet with great people who can help you out, do a search for the "herpes home page" and join the discussion there.
Right now the best thing you can do for yourself is LOVE yourself and treat your body well so it can keep the virus under control.
There may be future lovers who will refuse relationships because you have herpes, but I PROMISE you, there are infinite numbers of others out there who will be okay with it, who are most interested in a genuine, loving relationship.

Take a deep breath....remember you are a manifestation of the divine with unlimited potential....as much as this hurts right now, it is just a part of your life, not the end of it!
