I must say you are quite up on things and very perceptive.
I think everyone in the country knows Harold Fords father is a Dem. This is really old news and brought up alot by Harold Ford Jrs. Republican competitor for Senate, Bob Corker who talked more about Fords family than the issues at hand. How he won in Tennesse over Ford when everyone was in agreement that Ford( a 12 year congressman) was a clearly superior candidate.
Could it be racism??
Everyone in the nation already knows Corzine was speeding and not wearing a seatbelt. The fact that he is paying his own bills IS the story.
And the Deputy Sec of State WAS a Bush appointee..so what? The story is that he solicited call girls..
