I guess now that your ancestors made it inside you feel it is the time to close the borders. Why give people the same opportunity to others that you or your ancestors were given?

The 9/11 hijackers were not immigrants, some were here on legitimate student visas, some came as tourists and some used fake visas. Immigration officials were actually focused on keeping out illegal immigrants and not on potential terrorists. Stop spreading lies.

We will not forget that it was immigrants who opened the country, tilled the land, collected the harvest, built the rails, mined the minerals and were responsible for much if not most of the growth in this country.

Or the score of spree killers from Charles Whitman (TX 1966) to Charles Roberts (PA 2006) who killed little Amish girls. In fact very few of these spree killings were committed by immigrants.

Your proposal is simplistic, short-sighted, irrational knee jerk response to a much more complex societal problem. Americans love guns and love violence. This country was born out of violence and it has not been able to shed the burden of its birth. Canada, a country born out of negotiation had 622 homicides in 2004 even though they watch the same shows, eat the same food, play the same games and go to the same movies. Here in the US, there were 16 137 homicides in 2004.

Your xenophobic racist attitude provides fuel to much of the anti-American sentiment around the world, and your irrational linking the killings at Salt Lake to Bill Clinton only show how how desperate you are. It makes no sense and if you don't know it you need help.
