You sound like a very caring mother. And if you're kid has been on the standard american diet for some time, she probably is seeing some hormonal imbalace, mood disturbances and depression. You say she's about thirteen? Puberty, too. Work hard to get her diet back into shape, and I'm sure you'll see her moods flatten out.
However, you have to take responsibility for your part in the matter. Children do not magically become disturbed, and no amount of body imbalance could tweak your kid to a possible bipolar diagnosis. That's too severe a behavior pattern for general imbalances due to diet. Also, your message--even though you were very angry, which is understandable--read very red zone for codependency issues and emotional disturbance.
You really should look into that before your child goes off to college. College aged codependent women get into bad relationships with abusive partners, become bulimic or anorexic, are sexually promiscuous, depressed and suicidal. Its no joke. Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
