But really, if all the Biblical authors were familiar with Judaic mythology and the NT authors were interested in spreading Christianity, it seems obvious that they would share similar themes.
Again a real acid test would have been to for the Spanish explorers to find the Bible in the Inca Empire, or Mayan Empire, among the Inuit (Eskimo to the non PC)
Unfortunately religion (often but not always ) is a hindrance to seeing the truth and the Bible the major tool to keep the truth hidden[1]. It is too bad you views have been so crippled by religious dogma. Perhaps in the future you could escape your limitations and eventually grasp some truth.
Also given the thousands of different interpretations how can any person seriously claim that theirs is the one true interpretation and they know "The Truth"
