I've been watching your progress and am so happy for you! You've really done a great job and are reaching the goal. What a feeling you must have inside. I have stayed with the Joel Furhman diet since breaking my fast. I plan to continue that way. I gained 5 or 6 pounds back after starting to eat again, but today (exactly one week from breaking my fast) I am back to my end fast weight. Next week I will be breaking new territory with weight challenges. I only eat 2 meals a day (which I will continue doing for good.) I eat a healthy breakfast no snack and a healthy lunch/dinner. No dairy, no sugar, no meat (I am a vegetarian though) no white flour, no oils. It has been very easy to transition back to eating. I broke my fast with brown basmati rice and chinese stir fry. I did have a "goodie" this week. It was a few bites of chocolate chocolate cake and some ice cream. It tasted great and wasn't in my home so once it was eaten the tempation to have more was gone, because it wasn't where I live. That's another new rule of mine. Don't bring the junk home. I haven't been and won't. Overall the fasting has made me a stronger person. I am in control. My workouts have been tremendous! Eating to Live is my new motto and it makes all the difference. I think of your journey often and will follow up with you later. Sincerely, vegeymom Add This Message To Your CureZone Favorites!
