Yes in fact, it does. The following is recommended therapy for swollen adenoids:
- a three to five day fast on fruit juices diluted with 1/4 part distilled water. Use cleansing diet as recommended in book afterwards. Clean bowels with an enema 3 consecutive days.
- drink herb teas such as red clover, sassafras, and burdock root 3x daily.
- Take myrrh/goldenseal capsules, two every 2 hours until symptoms subside, then two capsules 3x daily. Echinacea can be substituted as well.
- Gargle several times daily with goldenseal tea. Echinacea and myrrh tinctures are specifically recommended, 15-25 drops every 2 hours until swelling subsides. Poke root tincture can be used, 5-10 drops 3x daily.
