Blog: Candida/Yeast, FINALLY getting RESULTS!!
Hi guys and gals,
Recently there was a post on the candida/yeast forum talking about a liver flush (which is actually a gallbladder/liver flush) that used coconut oil instead of olive oil at the end of the flush, and the poster said she got TONS of YEAST out in her bowel movements, not the typical gall stones that one sees floating on the surface. I think she might not have gotten stones out because she mentioned she had already done a few of these cleanses previously with the olive oil, but what intrigued me was the yeast she saw, "pots full" as she described it! I use coconut oil to cook with and even put some in protein shakes that I make but have never thought to try using it with a GB/liver flush. I was going to do the flush in a few weeks anyway, and now I am going to try the coconut oil instead, found an organic one at www.bionutz.com Coconut oil is very well known for its anti-microbial properties, so this may very well be why the poster saw such extreme die off, after taking the 1/2 cup of coconut oil at the end of the cleanse. Has anyone else ever tried this, or tried it since reading the posters experience? I have done GB/liver cleanses in the past if any one is interested in trying a great one, I have the recipe, there are a lot out there but I have found through researching it that this one seems to work very well without any complications. :)

Hi,
Your post about coconut oil has got me thinking (I want to do one too!).
I've done about 4 liver flushes with grapefruit/olive oil. If there's a better combo/recipe I'd Love to hear! Its still not that pleasant tasting. I think my body is very oil deficient, dry skin and so on. The flushes have actually helped that.
Do you think I should do more flushes to improve skin further? Will the oil also help lubricate the GI tract and get old junk out as well as stones?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
I am going to post the specific directions for the flush that I have used in the past few years. I think you should use the coconut oil on a daily basis for your skin, I use it directly on my skin but also consume a couple tablespoons a day with food. It is one of the best all natural foods on the planet :) Look for the post in a few minutes!
