Well I have hit the 3 week mark today and I feel very happy about it! I am proud that I have done this again. I feel better and lighter and after getting back to the Oxypowder I feel that I have cleansed myself a bit more. I am thinking that I will start to introduce some solids back in slowly this week. I feel ready because I have gotten a bit cranky and I am feeling hungry. I never felt hungry until now during this whole process and I have read that when those feelings return your body is ready for the transition back. I plan to have some fruit tomorrow and see how I feel. I have increased my workouts too and hope that I can maintain my weight and then lose more on my return to solids. I am vegan now and plan to have a lot more raw foods than I was having before the juice fast. I will keep posting on this journey as I know this is where it gets a little difficult. I am determined to make this transition successful. :)

I didn't count calories on my juice fast. I had mainly orange juices after reading an e-book from a raw food website (thegardendiet.com) that orange juice is a very complete food as far as vitamins and minerals go. I also had some carrot juices as well but I kept everything very simple this time. I believe that you can make it as complex or as simple as you want. Some people like to do more veggie juices but I just felt great doing it with mainly orange juices. I had 4 juices a day - one in the morning, one for a snack, one for lunch, and one for dinner. I also drank at least 80oz of water daily (sometimes more)and exercised moderately with the eliptical and toning (about 45-60 minutes total 5 days per week). Best wishes to you on your journey! :)
