    Anyone care to join me on doing a Valentine's Love Fast???

    I figure that the best gift to give myself for Valentine's Day is a love fast.
    I am doing this for me....But, I also want to give my hubby a 14LB weight loss gift for valentine's day!
    One of the best things about this gift to him is that one, it won't cost me a thing & his wife is on her way to gettin' her bod back!

    So my plan is to start tomorrow Feb 1st thru Feb 14th.
    The goal is to lose 14 LBS.
    I want to do this as a way to kick start my way to eating healthy and lose weight.
    I want to continue my journey to just be healthy of body and mind.

    I would so LOVE to do this fast with someone for encouragement and support....anyone?

    So I will be recording my weight loss on a daily basis....
    Here are my stats:
    Height: 5'3
    Starting Weight: 165.4 LBS

    P.S. I honestly hate the reality of my current weight, but for some odd(crazy) reason, I still feel beautiful.
    I don't like the number, don't like the unhealthy-ness of the number, but I am more than just the number! Yeay for me, huh!?
    So here I go....wish me luck!

      I thought I loved the way I looked too, until I took pictures of myself a few weeks ago. Front, back, and side shots! Ugh! lolol I've since lost 20lbs. The pictures were definitely motivation...and I weighed a lot more then you did though. Wish you the best of luck. You will do great!

        I sincerely thank you for your words of encouragement. It means a lot!
        I give you credit for taking pictures from all sides of your bod!!!! That takes courage...
        Congratulations on your 20lb weight loss! Are you continuing to lose? Are you doing it through fasting or some other method?

          I did one week prefast. greek yogurt and pineapple, and exercise. and 1 week on water. The water was really tough. I was going to go 30 days but plateau'd at 175.9 for 3 days. people in the waterfast support forum informed me if i fasted for 30 days on water to lose weight I would be really dissappointed. So funny thing, I broke the fast yesterday on fruit and did some light exercise. today I weighed in at 173! I was able to eat fruit and still lost 2 pounds.
          From here I'm going to eat healthy and exercise until I reach my goal 155. The fast helped in so many ways. I'm no longer, craving carbs, sugars or alcohol. I eat watermelon, all kinds of berries, mango and really savor the natural taste in the fruit. The thought of eating something artificial or greesy makes me sick! never thought I'd see the day. How is your fast coming along so far? Are you doing juice or water?

            I am glad that you broke through your plateu...who would have thunk it, you did it by eating! lol
            It seems like you are on your way to finding that 155 pound gal you are searching for...keep strong. Just think, summer is coming & you wont have to worry about your shorts riding up...not wanting to wear tank tops or bathing suits without a cover up!
            I am doing good so far on my fast. I am doing my own version of a fast consisting of coffee & chicken broth.
            I only plan to do it for a total of 14 days.
            My plan after that is to fast every other day until I reach my desired weight. On my eating days, I plan to eat lean protein, fruit and veggies.
            I am turning 40 this year so I want to be a healthy & a thinner version of myself!
