Blog: Insane Fasting - Juice fasting for the 4th time - 14 days

Very expensive. But what can I do. Besides I found a new favourite - pear juice is HEAVEN!! I've got a bottle with me at work today, as well as 600mls of apple juice which was left over from yesterday (so all in all I drank only 600mls of apple juice, 200mls of pineapple juice and 5x700mls of water while at work, that's not too much!).

Today I've felt and looked lighter, but I've noticed a drawback with the fruit juices - by the end of the work day I've had some mood swings, and now I'm rather tired.
I definitely need to add some veggie juice to my day, earlier.
Apart from that, all's good.

If you like pear juice, try blending in some seedless white grapes. now THAT is awesome. Dont believe me? try it.
plus you can try my personal favorite:
Sunrise smoothie:
5 strawberries
one orange
half banana
ice
mix that all in the blender and dilute with water if you wish. Its an AWESOME source for potassium, vitamins C and A, and antioxidants, crucial for flushing out toxins.
some other combinations i like are:
Mango and pineapple
Kiwi and strawberry
Apple, carrot and Celery
Triple berry: (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries)
apricot (just by itself or add a banana if you wish)
grapefruit and strawberry

Hi Disturbance, I was glad to read your blod, I've returned haven't been able to blog since 2006 or 2007, lots has happen to me phyiscally. I never forgot the people who help and encouraged me in my cancer challenge, you guys are the best. being FREE to choose is the key. when fasting is a chore it seems so hard. I've made the chose but it DOES SEEM HARDER this time. I'm leaving the fruit alone for the most part this time, I won't offiscial start until wed, so I'm prep-ing right now, mentally and physically. just wanted to say I know you'll succeed. DO YA THANG :)

Glad to see you writing here again!
