My skin has gotten so much better since I started working at the carnival at night and at the zoo in the daytime.

Hi Lovey,
good for you on doing what was best for YOU. Vegan/vegetarian didn't work for you. You changed your diet, Lovey, and now you feel better, great.
Although, what you say is not true for everyone else though. I know a couple who have been vegetarian (maybe vegan?) for most of their life. They LOOK great! They are energetic, healthy, happy people. They are NOT prematurely aging, due to their lifestyle (diet) choice. Quite the contrare.
Peace,
Beth

Could it really be as cut and dried as that Vegan equals wrinkly skin? For me almost nothing is simply black or white; right or wrong; healthy or unhealthy. My feeling is that we are all individuals and the saying 'one man's meat is another man's poison' springs to mind.
I wonder if it is possible in your case, bearing in mind that your health and food intolerances appear to have improved so drastically whilst you were vegan, that eating meat makes the body bloat and only when the swelling subsides that the skin shows the effect in the form of wrinkles?
On the other hand does it have to be 100% abstinence, or could eating meat occasionally be a desirable option? And further could it have been simply that when your health was so poor that although your body needed the nourishment from meat, it was incapable of digesting it? Now that you are much recovered you are able to metabolize many more foods. I am happy for you and find your story very inspiring.
Personally, I am a fish and egg eating vegan. This is what seems the best for me at present. And although my health has improved substantially and is continually improving, my digestive system is still weak and I still have many food intolerances; weakness and a persistent cough.
I have been taking Sun Chlorella A for a few weeks now, and am very comfortable with it. I checked it out with a kinesiologist who I have found to be very accurate. He also feels that it is beneficial for me, but that I could take 55 tablets a day. I have just built up to that amount now. I am pleased because I reckon that through this I will absorb much needed nutrition which I have been lacking for a long time. It has already made a big difference to my constipation which I'm confident will have a very positive knock on effect.
Thank you once again for posting your blog. You have achieved massive improvements in your health and wellbeing, and I think your journey could be very valuable to many people.

Anandi,
It is true that at one time, I was unable to digest meat. My body had such a difficult time digesting meat, that my body temperature would rise by 20 degrees just because my digestive system was so weak due to years of health problems. When my body temperature got hot, I would sweat, which made me smell because I was toxic and dis-eased. So yes, cutting out meat allowed my body time to heal. However, as a consequence, I became malnourished because my diet was so limited.
It's easy to come to the misleading conclusion that the wrinkling was unique to my sitiuation, because I had other food sensitivities, which contributed to my malnourished state. However, I did research on wrinkled hands, thin skin, etc. What I found was many people were asking why their skin was so wrinkly and then they'd say something like, "I don't understand because I eat so healthy. I'm a vegetarian/vegan." Then I read others who said their wrinkly skin got better after eating meat again. At around the same time, I began eating meat again and to my amazement, my skin got drastically better-- most notably my hands. So the conclusion that I came to is that this is what caused my wrinkled skin and if other people are eating the same diet and have very wrinkly skin too, that is probably their problem.
I mentioned that vegetarian/vegan diets can be followed in a healthy way if they follow a healthy diet with lots of variety. If you believe that being vegan/vegetarian is right for you, please go for it. Don't let my personal opinions stop you. Take what you like from my experience and go your own way. I welcome others to write their own wonderful vegan blogs of their very own.

- Raised Creatinine level by NewUK

Hi Lovey, Inspired by you 2 years ago I tried UT. I just did a small amount but I stopped because I was worried about the frequent urination it seemed to cause.
Recently I tried again and I've been doing it for just over a month. I am drinking a lot throughout the day. The frequent urination problem is still present but I drink plenty of water and seem to be able to work through the frequency problem and towards the end of each day it stops. I get a huge benefit from UT. Happy mood and mental alertness. It hasn't resolved my constipation issues though which are really bad. I do enemas and have been doing them recently with a cup of urine in the quart measure and find the enemas much more relaxing as a result.
BUT... I have had 2 bouts of stomach pain (which I relate to the constipation). I went to the doctor and he ruled out appendix/gall stones etc and took a blood test and said I should have a barium enema. The blood test came back with raised level of creatinine. I had to tell him I was doing UT and he told me to stop and take another test in 2 weeks time. To be fair to the doc he made no judgement but the implication was that UT could have raised creatinine level.
I know you had kidney issues some time ago. Did you ever have a blood test to check on your kidneys? Interestingly though the creatinine level is higher, the urea level is slightly lower than a test I did 8 years ago.

I did have kidney problems a while back and urine therapy helped that. What I learned also helped was to not eat anything with sugar, including fruit juice or excessive fruits. I have to eat them in small portions. Complex carbohydrates do not seem to create kidney problems.
As far as the constipation, find a good home colonic system and use it. You probably have serious toxins compacted in your body. Just a bag with a long insertion tube wil do it. You can lay in the tub and open the valve to let water in, rub your stomach in a clockwise motion(the direction of your intestines). I would give it 3-4 months before the constipation goes away. If you have money, however, Sun Chlorella A tabs are awesome. I use them and love them.
I have never had a blood test done. I have had plenty of other tests done and the doctors never found anything except that I am prediabetic. After the last doctor told me "it was all in my head" and tried to send me to a psychiatrist, I stopped seeing doctors completely. I have no faith in them and I've healed myself.
Congratulations on your achievements so far. Keep it up and never give in. Promise yourself that you will do urine therapy every day for 1 year and you will be a whole lot better.

Thanks for replying Lovey. I am a my wit's end. I have been doing enemas for the last 9 months. Brain fog went and memory sharpened. But I was afraid I was enema dependent. I wasn't doing BMs in between enemas. So I stopped. That's when I got the stomach ache. Now I am following doctor's orders and am not doing UT till my 2nd blood test next week. I felt much better doing UT (apart from the frequent peeing but I seem to do that anyway). I am taking Lactulose for constipation which isn't really working. I'll wait for the results of the blood test then I'll prob. start UT again. The doctor wants me to do a barium enema
