    Weight 209.4 6.6 lbs. since starting my juice 48 hours ago. Total loss 23.6 lbs.
    Feels great to break the 210 barrier. It been almost 6 years since I have weighed between 205-209 lbs.

    That's a huge drop. I know it is directly related to the amount of cardio and sauna sessions I have been doing. I have not felt too weak. Last night, after drinking my rooibos tea, I starting feeling some hunger pangs, but they went away after 30 minutes or so. Since I juiced fasted for 9 days a couple of weeks ago, I know what to expect the first couple of days on the fast. I am going to make some oolong tea this morning and then I will have some cranberry/grape juice with green vibrance to when I get back from taking my daughter to school today.

    This morning I made some oolong tea and drank it first thing. Before I left, I poured some diluted cranberry in a bottle along with a measure of green vibrance so I could sip it while I was out this morning. After running a few errands, I came home and my wife made me a blueberry/orange with wheat germ and flaxseed drink. I rested for about an hour or so and got ready to go to the gym.

    I was excited to recieve my kombucha starter the afternoon so I went to Walmart to buy the things I need to start brewing my own tea. I brewed some green tea, but had to wait for it to cool down so I could add my starter. I poured the leftover tea in a bottle and took it to the gym with me.

    We started with 20 minutes in the dry sauna followed by 45 of cardio on the eliptical and I finished with 25 minutes in the dry sauna. Before I went to workout, my energy level was a bit low. I kept my heart beat in the 130 range the entire time on the trainer.

    We I got home, I was feeling weak and hungry. I hate walking out of the 24 hour fitness and smelling the food from the Pei Wei restaurant. Every restaurant we past smelled delicious. I notice my sense of smell is quite heightened. When I arrived home, I made a banana/blueberry smoothie with kefir. It tasted pretty good. I had to round out the tart taste with splenda.

    Before I took a shower, I hopped on the scale and was shocked to see the scale read 207. That's 8 lbs. in 72 hours. I don't know if the tea is helping or it's the extreme workouts, or long dry sauna sessions, but the weight seem to melting away at tremendous clip. I know my body will begin to adjust and I know my weight loss will slow down the further into the fast, but so far, it has'nt.

      Hey, sounds like you're doing really well. Well done! Do have any idea how much of the weight lost is actually water retention? and also do sauna's help you lose weight or is mainly just water weight?

        Of the 7-8 lbs. I lost in the 72 hours, I would say 3-4 may be water. Since you consume little or no sodium juicing, there is little water retention by the body by the third day or so. As far as the sauna is concerned, the effect on the heart is similar to a cardio workout. After 20-30 minutes, my heart is beating between 120-135 per minutes which is the range I maintain when doing cardio on the eliptical trainer. The added benefits of sweating helps in the detox process by elimation of toxins through the pores. I woke up this morning and weighed 206. That's 9 lbs. since Monday morning. Thanks for the encouragement. I wish you best if you are going to juice fast. It has been a great experience for me.
