Here you see a pile of what appear to be tapeworm eggs. It may be hard to tell but this sample yielded 683 eggs in this pile. In the adult stage, these segmented flat worms, containing 50,000 eggs within each of its 1,000+ segments, can release thousands of eggs (proglottids) per day."
